Didi's chocolate & coffee in Aachen

The nicest and cosiest café in Aachen 😍

The 2 lattes that we took on the go were really bad for a place that is specialised in coffee.

My soy cappuccino was way too hot. I actually burned my tongue and it tasted watery. We ordered 5 Belgian waffles and it had a weird after taste. My vegetarian friend said it kinda had a bacon kinda taste and I agreed. Didn’t really feel welcoming there and the service was slow.

Can’t pay by card... only with cash? Ridiculous. It’s 2020.

Had the Cappucino Italiano which was so-so. Also had the Apricot Cheesecake and it was a 3/5. Lovely ambience and staff, great place to sit back and relax.

Nice little cafe! The service was unfortunately a bit slow and actually rather self-service also when it comes to clearing the tables. But the atmosphere is great and the drinking chocolate to take away is a dream!

Very nice little cafe, with a nice atmosphere, nice service and high quality products. An absolute no-go, however, was that on the men's room no toilet seat was. So man has to sit down on the bare porcelain, as I said, that will not work!

Friendly and nice café with a cozy interior in the center of Aachen, just a few meters from Aachen Cathedral and Elisenbrunnen. Nice and attentive staff. The hearty crêpes and the Belgian waffles and the coffee tasted good. The prices are fine for the quality. Especially delicious was the freshly baked cake. A nice place to drink / eat and watch the buzz of downtown.

Great reception ... grumpy lady who reduced herself to serve us. It took a while before we could order. Coffee not hot and Apfelstrudl from the microwave with vanilla soup, not tasty. So if you're in the area, go through ... and a corner away is a better choice!

Wait 20 minutes at dirty tables although almost nothing was going on. Simply hire more or hard-working staff.

Great location, very nicely decorated. Nice polite and courteous service and tasty coffee / tea and cake.

Delicious and nice local. I can only recommend it if you don't want to go to the usual chains (e.g. Starbucks).
